 Sue Schnitzer is a singer,
songwriter, guitarist, and teacher who specializes in music for children.
Sue presented her first programs for children over twenty-five years ago
at libraries in the Boston, Massachusetts area. She has been teaching
music & movement classes for infants and children and performing

She encourages her audience to sing along, jump, dance, twirl, stamp feet, clap hands, and have fun! She sings folk songs, children’s songs, songs from around the world, songs about being a cookie, a jack-in-the box, popcorn, being loved and being special. Sue has presented programs about potatoes, teeth, holidays, friendship, and lots more. She often includes some historical anecdotes about the origin of popular folk songs.  Instruments used may include guitar, harmonica, kazoo, a balloon, and assorted percussion instruments including kitchen items. Sue performs solo, with her daughter Becky (age 10), or a small band. Shows can be for young children, elementary school age children, or all ages/family. Show Content:
